The main bedroom downstairs was previously the ‘dairy maids’ quarters. These young women would be responsible for all the milking and cheese making done on the farm. The smaller bedrooms were once part of the ‘cheese loft’ where the freshly made farm cheeses were stored until they had matured and were ready to sell.

The sitting room, once the original farmhouse kitchen, is just right for unwinding at the end of a fun packed day, complete with a real wood burning stove and Sky+ TV. The generously sized kitchen/dining room is fully equipped and is the perfect place in which to prepare and enjoy evening meals with friends or family. Along with the entrance hall, these two rooms made up the old dairy where the fresh milk would be chilled and stored until being made into butter and cheese.

Freshen up after a busy day in the shower room upstairs or the full sized bathroom downstairs. For those cooler evenings there is central heating throughout. We have included a secure storage unit outside for bicycles, golf clubs, fishing tackle, surfboards, tack etc and the entrance hall is a suitable drying area for outdoor clothes and equipment.

We are dog lovers ourselves and welcome responsible dog owners.

For larger parties additional accommodation on a bed only basis can be provided in the main farmhouse.
